Alpha Rho of Chi Psi has been pledging gentlemen and scholars since 1879 and we consider recruitment to be one of the most important of all our activities. The continuation of the chapter’s ideals relies upon the next set of young men who will be brothers of Alpha Rho. The Brothers of Chi Psi take pride in, and support, the diversity of our members: their backgrounds, beliefs, extracurricular involvement and their fields of academic study.
Rutgers University sponsors deferred recruitment, meaning that men interested in joining a fraternity must have earned at least 12 credit hours prior to joining. We hold approximately five official recruitment events per semester, but invite you to drop by the Chi Psi Lodge at any time. We are located at 114 College Ave, on the corner of Bartlett and College Ave.
Requirements for joining:

Must have successfully completed at least 12 credits

Must have earned at least a 2.75 GPA

Be enrolled as a full time, undergraduate student at Rutgers University
Alpha Rho of Chi Psi follows the policies from our National Constitution that explains that “No man shall be denied membership in the Fraternity on the basis of his race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability status.”
